Overview
Grant Description
These are FY2021 Section 5307 Urbanized Area Formula funds in the amount of $14,206,745. The funds are matched with Florida Transportation Development Credits in the amount of $3,551,686.
This grant will provide significant funding for eligible capital. The funds will be used for preventive maintenance for bus ADA complementary services and streetcar maintenance. Funds will also be used for the following projects:
- Associated transit improvements
- Renovation of the HART Operations Control Center
- Renovation of the Marion Transit Center customer service area
- Security projects
The ALIs that will be used to support the 1 percent for public transportation security projects are 11.32.07 and 11.42.08. HART is a designated recipient.
This grant application is not for research and development. Indirect cost rates will not be applied to any activities within this application. Transportation Development Credits are used as a soft match for this application. HART will follow all third-party procurement policies as defined in FTA C4220.1F. HART will ensure contractors procured will not be on the FTA Suspension and Debarment List.
