Grant Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP) is positioned to initiate two acquisition projects within the Hudson Highlands region in cooperation with the Highlands Conservation Act Grant Program.
The Northern Ventures property consists of 3 parcels totaling 169 acres in the town village of Woodbury, Orange County, NY.
The Eagle Valley property consists of 45 acres in the village of Sloatsburg, Rockland County, NY.

NYS OPRHP is committed to successfully acquiring the properties as valuable additions to the surrounding permanently protected land including the Schunnemunk Mountain State Park, Sterling Forest State Park and Harriman State Park.
