Overview

Grant Description
This agreement will support South Dakota Grassland Coalition leadership and staff capacity to work with interested landowners and conservation professionals to expand education and outreach programs. SDGC will work closely with other partners to develop and implement a wide variety of education/outreach programs and products.

Primary deliverables will include a series of ranching stewardship videos, commercials highlighting grassland values, a series of feature-length magazine articles, and support for locally-led ranch tours. In addition, based on partner needs, the cooperative agreement may also support the annual SD Grazing School, the annual SD Grassland Planner, and the Young Adult Ranching for Profit Seminars.

This multi-year incremental funding cooperative agreement will begin in 2022 and conclude in 2024.
