Project Grant
Overview
Grant Description
The North Olympic Peninsula Recompete Plan, led by Clallam County, aims to revitalize the natural resources industries in the remote region of Washington State's North Olympic Peninsula, an area which includes five tribal nations.
The region has faced a lack of job opportunities since the decline of the logging industry.
To drive renewed economic competitiveness and job creation in the maritime and natural resource sectors, the coalition will enhance supply chain infrastructure, scale innovative forest product manufacturing, and support workers in tribal and distressed communities through various economic development initiatives.
This project will add admin capacity to support the Recompete strategy, marketing, communications, data analysis, reporting, and grant management.
