Grant Description
The Tech Hubs investment will address key technology-deployment challenges within the Headwaters Tech Hub (HTH) ecosystem by developing specialized testbeds for various applications.
These testbeds aim to provide real-world testing environments and demonstration sites for products in rugged terrain, precision agriculture, and on/off highway scenarios.
The program seeks to facilitate product commercialization, support innovation, and provide training opportunities, ultimately accelerating technology adoption and customer engagement in these fields.
Activities to be performed:
Establish revenue streams sufficient to cover annual operating costs of each testbed by 2029.
Aid the commercialization of 6 products per year from companies by 2029.
Host onsite training of 40 students or trainees per year at testbeds.
Expected outcomes:
Increased awareness and utilization of the testbeds among companies aligned with the Headwaters Tech Hub (HTH) through briefings and engagement.
Generate revenue from testbed services, facilitate the commercialization of six products annually, and provide training to 40 students or trainees each year.
Support innovation and contribute to the development of a skilled workforce.
Intended beneficiaries:
