Grant Description
First Coast Technical College (FCTC), St. Johns County and St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) are seeking EDA funding to design, engineer, and construct a plus or minus 20,000 square foot workforce training center in Hastings, Florida.
The center will have several programs including Diesel System Technician (DST).
The proposed building will include classrooms and lab space for each program, facilitating a hands-on experience.
The proposed center includes the technical college building, ninety-five proposed parking spaces, truck loading, landscaping, equipment, and a stormwater pond.
