Grant Description
The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD) shall undertake the efforts to identify, register, and arrange for the disposition of discrete radioactive materials that have a commercial disposal option by providing funding to CRCPD.

To assure that radioactive sources do not pose a risk of being diverted for possible misuse, either through negligence, non-compliance with license requirements, loss, or theft.
