Project Title: Indigenous Mutual Partnership to Advance Cybersecurity Technology (IMPACT)

Project Objective: Three tribal colleges and universities, Sitting Bull College (SBC) in North Dakota, Stone Child College (SCC) in Montana, and Turtle Mountain Community College (TMCC) in North Dakota, have come together along with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) partners Kansas City National Security Campus and Sandia National Laboratories as a consortium-based model under the Indigenous Mutual Partnership to Advance Cybersecurity Technology (IMPACT). The goal of this partnership is to strengthen key science, technology, and cybersecurity capabilities in direct alignment with NNSA strategic vision mission priority #4 and consortium expectations.

The goal of the Indigenous Mutual Partnership to Advance Cybersecurity Technology (IMPACT) is to strengthen and expand science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)/cybersecurity education and research at three tribal colleges. This will prepare a highly-qualified next generation workforce and increase the flow of American Indian/Alaska Native students into cybersecurity careers throughout the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) workforce to meet present and future security demands.

TURTLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE PROJECT TITLE: INDIGENOUS MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP TO ADVANCE CYBERSECURITY TECHNOLOGY (IMPACT) PROJECT OBJECTIVE: THREE TRIBAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, SITTING BULL COLLEGE (SBC) IN NORTH DAKOTA , STONE CHILD COLLEGE (SCC) IN MONTANA AND TURTLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE (TMCC) IN NORTH DAKOTA, HAVE COME TOGETHER ALONG WITH THE NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (NNSA) PARTNERS KANSAS CITY NATIONAL SECURITY CAMPUS AND SANDIA NATIONAL LABORATORIES AS A CONSORTIUM-BASED MODEL UNDER THE INDIGENOUS MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP TO ADVANCE CYBERSECURITY TECHNOLOGY (IMPACT) TO STRENGTHEN KEY SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND CYBERSECURITY CAPABILITIES IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT WITH NNSA STRATEGIC VISION MISSION PRIORITY #4 AND CONSORTIUM EXPECTATIONS.
