Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) carbonate solvent production for lithium-ion battery electrolytes.
The project goal is to demonstrate the technoeconomic viability of onshoring domestic manufacturing of low carbon electrolyte solvents.
The project will demonstrate the creation of new value streams of electrolyte solvents while furthering the nation’s self-reliance for electric vehicle (EV) electrolytes.
