Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) - Daikin Domestic Inverter Heat Pump Manufacturing Project
The objective of the project is to expand the domestic production of environmentally friendly “air-to-air” and “air-to-water” heat pumps that support decarbonization initiatives and to advance Daikin’s ongoing efforts to transform the domestic production to new energy-efficient alternatives powered by inverter driven heat pump technology via the retrofitting of production lines.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO ACCELERATE THE GROWTH OF DOMESTIC PRODUCTION CAPABILITY OF ELECTRIC HEAT PUMPS TO MEET THE ANTICIPATED INCREASED DEMAND FOR CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES AS THE ECONOMY TRANSITIONS TO NET-ZERO EMISSIONS.
