Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation (BIL) project titled: BIL - Auto Scale Silicon Anode Plant.

The objective of the project is to build a 2,300 ton per year (TPY), silicon anode material manufacturing facility while including the creation of equitable jobs, local economic growth, and community benefits, as well as continued technical innovation.
Funding Goals
THE PURPOSE OF AREA OF INTEREST NINE (9) UNDER DE-FOA-0002907 IS TO CONSTRUCT NEW FACILITIES OR EXPAND, RETOOL, OR RETROFIT EXISTING FACILITIES TO CREATE U.S. SILICON OR SILICON-BASED ACTIVE MATERIAL POWDER AND/OR SILICON CONTAINING BATTERY ELECTRODE PRODUCTION CAPACITY SUITABLE FOR USE IN A MODULE, PACK, OR SYSTEM AND CAN BE USED IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND/OR ELECTRIC GRID ENERGY STORAGE APPLICATIONS.
