The goals and objectives of the Adaptable Grid Project include facilitating necessary smart grid investments that increase grid flexibility while ensuring every effort is made to reduce the cost burden on customers and improve system visibility with autonomous controls through utilization of software and sensors enhancing circuits to improve reliability metrics.

THIS FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT (DE-FOA-0002740) SUPPORTS THE GRID RESILIENCE AND INNOVATION PARTNERSHIPS (GRIP) PROGRAM AND SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPREHENSIVE AND REGIONAL RESILIENCE STRATEGIES TO ADDRESS THE INCREASING THREATS TO OUR POWER SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE; SPECIFICALLY, TO PREVENT OUTAGES AND ENHANCE THE RESILIENCE OF THE ELECTRIC GRID, DEPLOY TECHNOLOGIES TO ENHANCE GRID FLEXIBILITY, AND DEMONSTRATE INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO POWER SECTOR INFRASTRUCTURE RESILIENCE AND RELIABILITY.
