Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) – Project DA: Distribution Automation Deployment in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma
This project seeks to improve reliability on the circuits where distribution automation (DA) is deployed by 33%, as measured by circuit customer minutes of interruption (CMI), while adding system switching flexibility and efficiency for operations and providing additional capacity for distribution-connected renewables.
Preceding or accompanying autorecloser deployments will be upgrades to capacity and structural integrity of conductors, poles, station transformers, and related equipment in the vicinity of devices.
