Grant Description
Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) - Transmission, Distribution, and Communications Resiliency Initiative

As a predominantly rural electric cooperative that operates on a non-profit basis, the recipient is focused entirely on meeting the needs of its customer-members and the communities that it serves by delivering safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity and related services.

Access to federal funding through the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) program will enable the recipient to complete several transformative programs and projects in Southern Maryland that will improve electric service reliability for all customers and covered communities and reduce impacts to the power system due to extreme weather conditions.
