Cooperative Agreement
Overview
Grant Description
Engineering-scale testing of transformational membrane technology for carbon dioxide capture from natural gas combined cycle flue gas.
The overall objectives of this project are to 1) repurpose and modify an existing engineering-scale skid for a 5 tonne per day (TPD) engineering-scale carbon capture system using the recipient’s transformational membrane in commercial-size, spiral-wound (SW) membrane modules, 2) conduct field testing on natural gas combined-cycle (NGCC) flue gas and demonstrate a continuous, steady-state operation for a minimum of two months, and 3) gather necessary data for further process scale-up.
