Uinta Basin CarbonSafe II: Storage Complex Feasibility

The primary objective of this CarbonSafe Phase II project is to establish the technical and commercial feasibility of a commercial-scale CO2 geological storage complex for Deseret Power Electric Cooperative Bonanza Power Plant and other CO2 sources in the Northeast Uinta Basin, Utah.

TO ACCELERATE WIDE-SCALE DEPLOYMENT OF CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE TO SUPPORT THE CARBONSAFE INITIATIVE, DOE'S FLAGSHIP EFFORT TO MOVE CARBON STORAGE TECHNOLOGIES INTO GEOGRAPHICALLY WIDESPREAD COMMERCIAL PRACTICE.
