THE PUEBLO PROPOSES TO WORK WITH THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR APPROPRIATE AND SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY (ICAST), A 501C3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS EXPERIENCED IN BRINGING SOLAR PROJECTS TO LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES, TO HELP IT UPDATE THE 2013 FEASIBILITY STUDY. BASED ON ICAST’S PRELIMINARY RECOMMENDATIONS, THE PUEBLO PLANS TO FOCUS THE FEASIBILITY OF ONE OR MORE SOLAR PROJECTS, AND NOT LOOK FURTHER AT GEOTHERMAL OR WIND OPTIONS.
