SRI International and the University of Houston (UH) will develop a printed microreactor for renewable energy enabled fuel production (PRIME-FUEL), a highly energy efficient modular catalytic microreactor that will convert carbon dioxide (CO2) to methanol (CH3OH) using intermittent renewable energy while maintaining high yields by enabling closer-to-isothermal operation.
