Project Grant
Overview
Grant Description
FGB Innovation LLC create topic C award DE-FOA-0002785 (SBIR/STTR) control #2785-1528 with project title, “Develop a miniaturized NMR sensor to achieve real-time composition measurement for crude oil blending application” (control #2785-1528) will enable the application of the miniaturized μNMR sensor (Fig. 1B) to crude oils by developing an analytical model to obtain the composition of real-world crude oils.
The miniaturized μNMR sensors can obtain crude oil composition at both the input and output ports of blending systems and optimize the blending operation in real-time to improve blending accuracy and thus refinery efficiencies.
