Grant Description
This cooperative agreement is awarded to Solid Power Operating, Inc. for a project entitled "High Energy Fast Charging All-Solid-State Batteries." This award is being made in accordance with FOA number DE-FOA-0002760 (EVS4ALL) and application control number 2760-1567.

Solid Power Operating, Inc. (SP) will team with the University of Maryland (UMD) to develop high energy, fast charging, long life, low cost, and safe Li metal all-solid-state batteries (ASSB) for electric vehicles application under category 2.
Funding Goals
THE OVERARCHING GOAL OF THE EVS4ALL PROGRAM IS TO LEVERAGE NEW BATTERY INNOVATIONS AT THE MATERIAL, ELECTRODE, AND CELL DESIGN LEVEL TO MITIGATE THE PRIMARY EV ADOPTION DETRACTORS TO THE GREATEST EXTENT POSSIBLE.
