Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this grant award is to utilize FY 2024 Low-No Emission Grant Program 5339(c) funds to purchase five compressed natural gas (CNG) buses for use on a new bus route that will provide service between Greeley and Loveland on U.S. 34.
Activities performed: Purchase of five compressed natural gas (CNG) buses for service on U.S. 34 between Greeley and Loveland CO and provide workforce development training.
Expected outcomes: The benefits of this project are to provide a direct transit connection between Greeley and Loveland on U.S. 34 and aid in the reduction of traffic congestion.
Intended beneficiaries: Beneficiaries of this project will be commuters and locals who travel between Greeley and Loveland for medical employment and educational purposes.
Subrecipient activities: None.
