Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of the grant award is to rehabilitate an existing operations maintenance administration facility and construct the final core phases (6 8) of the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority's (RFTA) eight-phase regional transit center (RTC) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Activities performed: Activities include construction of the transit center multimodal hub; operations training and administration facility; and LEV maintenance and storage for specialized parts and equipment.

Expected outcomes: Completion of these last two phases will finish the modernization of RFTA's operations and maintenance capabilities.

Intended beneficiaries: Transit users in RFTA service area which includes the cities of Aspen and Glenwood Springs and the towns of Basalt, Carbondale, New Castle, and Snowmass Village in Colorado.

Funding Goals
THE LOW-NO PROGRAM PROVIDES FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OR LEASE OF ZERO-EMISSION AND LOW-EMISSION TRANSIT BUSES INCLUDING ACQUISITION CONSTRUCTION AND LEASING OF REQUIRED SUPPORTING FACILITIES SUCH AS RECHARGING REFUELING AND MAINTENANCE FACILITIES.
