Grant Description
Application Purpose: This award will support MMTS fixed route services with the replacement of six (6) vehicles.
Activities performed: The funds will be used to replace six (6) diesel buses that have exceeded their minimum useful life in both years and mileage with diesel-electric hybrid replacement vehicles.
Expected outcomes: MMT will provide a reliable and safe service to the riding public.
Replacing diesel vehicles with diesel-electric hybrid vehicles supports MMTS transition to low-emission vehicles.
Intended beneficiaries: The City of Colorado Springs and its constituents.
Subrecipient activities: None.
