Grant Description
Application Purpose:
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) applies for the full FFY22 Section 5307 apportionment of $79,720,158 allocated to the Denver-Aurora UZA. Of the total, this application funds preventive maintenance ($47,034,893 federal) and capital cost of contracting ($32,685,265 federal).
Activities Performed:
The funds will be used for preventive maintenance and the capital cost of contracting funded at an 80% federal to 20% local matching ratio.
Expected Outcomes:
This award will assist RTD in funding maintenance-related costs during the period 10/1/2021 to 9/30/2023.
Intended Beneficiaries:
The transit patrons and employees of the RTD service area will benefit from the funding in this application.
