Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this grant is to request discretionary FTA Section 5339B grants for buses and bus facilities program funds to be used for the replacement and modernization of a bus fueling station that has exceeded its useful life.
Activities performed: Replace and modernize the bus fueling island including the structural canopy, fuel dispensing systems, and underground storage tanks.
Expected outcomes: Replacing a fueling station that services over 100 revenue vehicles will reduce the risk of operational disruptions and safety concerns and ensure uninterrupted transit service.
Intended beneficiaries: Residents and visitors of Eastern Contra Costa County will benefit from safe reliable transit as a result of the new fueling station.
Subrecipient activities: The recipient does not intend to sub-award funds.
