Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of the grant is to provide funding for preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities to allow the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) to provide efficient and dependable transit service.

Activities Performed: This grant will apply federal funds in the amount of $22,629,197 to allowable preventive maintenance activities for the period July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. No fuel costs are included in this grant application.

Expected Outcomes: This grant will provide funding to ensure the SCRRA can continue to provide service by maintaining a state of good repair for equipment and facilities that support rail operations and improve air quality.

Intended Beneficiaries: The intended beneficiaries of these projects are patrons that utilize SCRRA services.

Subrecipient Activities: Metrolink does not intend to subaward funds.
