Grant Description
The purpose of the Targeted Air Shed Program is to replace approximately 237 old self-propelled or off-road diesel tractors that operate in close proximity to agricultural-based communities within the San Joaquin Valley (SJV) with new tractors. The replacement tractors will utilize the cleanest available technology to meet the Tier 4 emission standard in order to reduce the amount of pollution in the valley.
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $3,184,875.00.
