Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to Southern Nevada Water Authority to implement its project Septic Conversion Project as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $3,000,000.
The recipient's cost share waiver request was approved by EPA on July 12, 2023.
Pre-award costs are approved back to 07/01/2024.

Activities: The activities to be performed are contractor mobilization, sewer mainline and lateral installation, asphalt and pavement patching and slurry seal, and project closeout.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverable is the conversion of septic systems to the SNWD's sewer system which will improve groundwater quality for residents served by SNWD.
