Description:
The purpose of this agreement is to provide funding to San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) in its efforts to reduce harmful emissions in the San Joaquin Valley, California Air Basin. SJVUAPCD will utilize their program to change-out several open-hearth fireplaces and old burning devices with new cleaner-emitting burning devices throughout the San Joaquin Valley Air Basin.

This cooperative agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $8,590,398.00.

Activities:
The activities include replacement of open-hearth fireplaces and old burning devices with new and cleaner-emitting burning devices to help reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5) emissions in the San Joaquin Valley Air Basin.
