Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Inglewood to implement its project to replace degraded watermain pipes that have reached the end of their useful life as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.

Activities: The activities to be performed consist of: removing and replacing approximately 20,810 linear feet of watermain pipes, trenching, backfill, compaction and new pavement over the excavated trench.
The City will grind and cap to smooth out pavement of excavated trench with street surface.
The scope of work also includes the replacement of 534 existing water service connections and construction of 41 fire hydrant assemblies with break-off valve, which prevent water loss when knocked down.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include furnishing and installation of new 8-inch and 12-inch DIP water main pipes of approximately 20,810 linear feet and the replacement of 534 existing water service connections and construction of 41 fire hydrant assemblies with break-off valve.
