Grant Description
Description: The agreement provides funding to assist the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) in its efforts to reduce harmful ozone and particulate matter (PM 2.5) air pollution by replacing several diesel powered on-road trucks with zero-emission or lower emitting heavy duty trucks new tractors that meet the Tier 4 emission standards throughout the San Joaquin Valley, California air basin.
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $4,500,000.00.
Activities: The recipient will implement activities within the scope of the Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) grant program by replacement of several on-road diesel trucks with new heavy duty zero emission or low emitting trucks that meet the Tier 4 emission standards.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables and outcomes of this award include replacement of several on-road diesel with cleaner heavy duty trucks that meet the Tier 4 emission standard.
