Overview
Grant Description
This agreement provides funding for the operation of the Navajo Nation's continuing environmental programs while giving it greater flexibility to address its highest environmental priorities, improve environmental performance, achieve administrative savings, and strengthen the partnerships between Navajo Nation and EPA. Specifically, Navajo Nation EPA will continue to monitor water quality of tribal waters, implement the 401 CERT program, and reduce nonpoint source pollution.
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $1,414,581. $100,000 in tribal CWA Section 319 competed under #EPA-OW-OWOW-20-01 is obligated as part of this funding action.
