Grant Description
This action awards federal funds of $3,395,112 for administration of a grant program to accelerate implementation of agricultural best management practices (BMP) in the most effective basins within the Chesapeake Bay watershed of Pennsylvania. This funding includes $3,295,112 toward implementation of Activity 1 (BMP implementation) and $100,00 toward implementation of Activity 2 (tracking, verifying, and reporting BMP progress).
Federal funds in the amount of $16,975,560 are contingent upon availability.
Note that the header of this award erroneously reflects it is a grant agreement whereas it is a cooperative agreement, and the headers of the budget details on page 4 should more accurately be identified as Activity 1: Accelerating BMP and Activity 2: Tracking BMP. EPA is implementing a new grant system that will soon be undergoing enhancements to correct these errors.
