These funds will be used to accomplish the objectives of the Virginia Chesapeake Bay TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Load) Watershed Implementation Plans and the Virginia Milestones, with an emphasis on nonpoint source pollution reduction programs.

As Virginia's lead agency for nonpoint source pollution (NPS), DEQ is responsible for implementing this grant.

This action provides federal funds in the amount of $2,777,622. Federal funds in the amount of $5,555,244 are contingent upon availability.
