Grant Description
These funds will be used to provide the Chesapeake Bay Program's (CBP's) non-federal partners with technical analysis and programmatic evaluation support. The project assists the partners in meeting their restoration and protection goals and in increasing the transfer of scientific understanding to the CBP modeling and monitoring activities.
Project funding will support scientific staff members who will apply the various modeling, data analyses, and GIS activities to develop and communicate information directly used in decision making for the Chesapeake Bay environmental restoration efforts.
This action awards federal funds in the amount of $625,500 ($56,400 of which represent EPA in-kind funding). Federal funds in the amount of $5,134,233 ($282,000 of which represent EPA in-kind funding) are contingent upon availability.
