This agreement provides assistance to the State of New York in developing, implementing and maintaining an effective leaking underground storage tank, UST, program and to support activities in making progress in cleaning up petroleum leaks by overseeing or initiating and completing cleanups, and reducing the backlog of LUST sites not yet cleaned up.
