Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to Borough of Alpha to implement its project to construct a new 0.5 MG steel welded elevated water storage tank as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a drinking water infrastructure construction project.
Workplan activities consist of the installation of: a new tank foundation, a new tank steel structure and accessories, piping and valves, electric and controls, and coatings and finishes.
The existing Industrial Drive tank will be demolished upon the completion of the new tank.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables includes the installation of: a new tank foundation, a new tank steel structure, piping, valves, electrical, controls, and coatings and finishes.
The existing Industrial Drive tank will be demolished upon the completion of the new tank.
The expected outcomes include increasing reliability of the drinking water supply system and providing enhanced water pressure and storage during peak usage.
The intended beneficiaries include the community of the Borough of Alpha.
