Description: The agreement provides funding to South Jersey Port Corporation.
The recipient will replace an older, diesel-powered fork lift yard trucks with an electric fork lift, which will reduce emissions of diesel particulate matter, nitrogen oxides and exposure to other air pollutants in Camden, New Jersey.
Activities: The activities include the purchase of an all-electric fork lift and the scrappage of a diesel fork lift.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The recipient, South Jersey Port Corporation, will take delivery of a new electric fork lift.
The recipient will also document the scrappage of the diesel fork lift in accordance with EPA program guidance.
Outcomes include reductions in NOX and PM2.5 emissions and associated health benefits.
The recipient will submit quarterly and annual reports to EPA to summarize the status of the outputs and outcomes.
