Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Newburgh to implement its project to replace the North Interceptor Sewer as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed are construction of the new North Interceptor, including installing 9,000 linear feet of interceptor sewer that will be tied into the City's WPCP influent sewer.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables are installation of interceptor sewer, with connection to the City's WPCP influent sewer, which are expected to lead to reduced pollution entering the Hudson River from combined sewer overflows for the people of New York.
