Description:
This agreement provides funding to Suffolk County Water Authority to implement its project to construct a water main extension into the community of Manorville whose residents rely on private wells impacted by per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) contamination, as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities:
The activities to be performed involve installing a new water main extension of approximately 20,000 feet with service lines to properties and subsequent road restoration.
Subrecipient:
No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes:
The anticipated deliverables are to construct a new water main extension. The expected outcome would be to provide the community residents of Manorville access to safe public drinking water.
