Grant Description
Description:
This agreement provides funding to the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority (WVSA) to implement its project to manage stormwater runoff and to ensure compliance with environmental regulations as directed in the 2022 and 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Acts or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.

Furthermore, three stream restorations will be constructed, utilizing advanced techniques to stabilize stream banks, enhance habitats, and promote natural flow patterns. Moreover, two basin retrofits are being implemented to retrofit existing stormwater basins, effectively removing pollutants and preventing their discharge into nearby water bodies. Additionally, 2 sewer projects will be implemented to improve the resiliency of sewer collection system.
