Description:
This grant agreement provides funding to Frederick County Sanitation Authority, Virginia, to construct a well water treatment project as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities:
The activities to be performed are the construction of a treatment building, chemical feed facilities, a horizontal pressure filter system, a ground storage tank, high service pumps, a dirty backwash water storage basin, and piping of various sizes running between system components.
Subrecipient:
No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes:
The anticipated deliverables are an increased water treatment capacity, improvement of water reliability, and expansion of services to surrounding counties. The direct beneficiaries are the town and the residents of Lake Frederick, Virginia. No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
