Description:
This agreement provides funding to Canaan Valley Public Service District, WV to implement its project to construct a new water treatment plant (WTP) to provide potable water service and support future water demands as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities:
The activities to be performed include construction of a new water treatment plant which will provide potable water service to the Canaan Valley Public Service District. Current water sources and treatment methods do not adequately meet the needs of the area and a recent source water analysis determined that the current source needs additional treatment before being distributed to customers.
Subrecipient:
No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes:
The anticipated deliverables include the construction of a new water treatment plant. The beneficiaries include the communities of the Timberline Four Seasons Resort, Beaver Ridge Resort, Northpoint Homeowners Association, North Lake Homeowners Association, and Black Bear Woods Resort.
