Grant Description
The California Space Grant Consortium (CASGC) was founded in 1989 and is a designated Space Grant headquartered at the University of California San Diego (UC San Diego), the lead institution. Our affiliates include select campuses from the University of California, the California State University system, private universities, and numerous California community colleges.
Our vision, mission, and goals/major objectives are:
Vision: To inspire and educate the next generation of aerospace scientists, engineers, and managers.
Mission: To bring aerospace engineering and space science-related content, technical expertise, and application environment of NASA's mission directorates to the California educational community and the general public.
