Grant Description
The purpose of the two-year AHRDC activity is to strengthen Nicaraguan human rights and civil society organizations to defend target populations in Nicaragua, as well as exiles in Costa Rica. This will be achieved through assistance targeted to critical sectors, such as campesinos, students and youth, victims of violence and imprisonment, the medical profession assisting victims, and women's organizations devoted to human rights.
