Cooperative Agreement
Overview
Grant Description
The purpose of the activity is to advance durable solutions for Marawi internally displaced people (IDPs) in a manner that reduces the threat of conflict and extremism.
To do this, USAID envisions implementing locally driven and community-centered approaches that empower IDPs to participate in their own recovery and be active contributors to the social and economic development of their communities.
Through facilitating engagement between IDPs and host communities to improve social and economic conditions, the project seeks to simultaneously advance durable solutions while reducing the threat of conflict and extremism.
