Overview
Grant Description
Gateway to Transition Activity will meet USAID objective on delivering activities that meet immediate humanitarian priorities and lay the groundwork for rebuilding a quality education system by addressing supply and demand needs alongside threats to child welfare caused by the crisis.
Gateway will build on USAID's support to the School Doors Project by strengthening government capacity to shift from humanitarian response to long-term development-oriented activities on their journey to self-reliance.
As a system-strengthening activity, Gateway will follow the TEP roadmap and build off investments and key technical resource USAID, GPE, UNICEF, and GIZ have put in place, such as the Yemen Early Grade Reading Program, to support a more flexible, responsive, and stronger education system.
