THE USAID HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS PHASE II (HES-II) AT LAU AIMS AT INCREASING ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION AMONG HIGHLY ACHIEVING YET FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED GRADUATES FROM PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN LEBANON. THIS PROGRAM OFFERS ENROLLED SCHOLARS AT LAU, IN ADDITION TO HIGH-STANDARD QUALITY EDUCATION, THE NECESSARY TECHNICAL, SOFT, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS THAT INCREASE THEIR JOB READINESS AND SUCCESS IN THE LABOR MARKET. HES II PROVIDES HOLISTIC UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS TO LEBANESE AND NON-LEBANESE REFUGEE STUDENTS RESIDING IN LEBANON AT LAU, COVERING FULL EDUCATIONAL COSTS INCLUDING UP-TO-FULL TUITION FEES, STIPENDS, AND HOUSING/TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE.
