Project Grant
Overview
Grant Description
The objective of this project is to complete preliminary engineering, NEPA, final design, and construction to replace two fracture critical rail-highway grade separated crossings with new grade separations.
The project will create a reliable, functional crossing that allows inter-modal freight and the traveling public to move seamlessly through this critical intersection of a main freight railroad and interstate corridor.
The project will provide rail and multi-modal safety and reliability improvements and will ensure unencumbered inter-modal freight movement and supply chain security.
Beneficiaries of this project include the traveling public, freight trucks/carriers, and Union Pacific Railroad.
