Overview
Grant Description
The project funds preliminary engineering and NEPA work associates with a new grade separation at an existing highway-railway grade crossing (OR 38) and updated safety measures on an adjacent crossing (Winchester Avenue).
The project will help increase rail activity along the Coos Bay Rail Line through Reedsport and will identify safety measures at an adjacent at-grade crossing.
The preliminary plans will identify a project that will improve mobility, safety, and access by eliminating a highway-rail grade crossing and upgrading safety measures at an adjacent highway-rail at-grade crossing.
